Hinds Hall 4. Hinds Hall

William Lawyer Hinds Hall was built in 1955 to accommodate the fast-growing College of Engineering, now the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science. Today, the building, which was named after the former chairman of the Crouse-Hinds Company and University trustee, contains the University's computing services, engineering department offices, and the School of Information Studies.
