Located between the Hall of Languages and Lyman Hall, this 1902 building was funded by the typewriter pioneer and president of the L.C. Smith & Brothers Typewriter Company for the Lyman Cornelius Smith College of Applied Science. Today, Smith Hall is the headquarters of the College of Visual and Performing Arts' department of design.
