31. Slocum Hall
Slocum Hall was built in 1918 next to the former turn-around site of the Euclid Avenue Trolley. Mrs. Russell Sage donated money for
the building for the University's agriculture department in memory of her father, Joseph H. Slocum, who had been one of the first men
in the country interested in the development of agricultural education. The College of Agriculture was discontinued in 1933, and
Slocum Hall now houses the Office of Academic Affairs for the College of Humans Services and Health Professions. The Dean's office for HSHP is located at 119
