Built in 1988 as part of the University's drive to improve its technological facilities and create a strong center for computer technology in Central New York. The Sci-Tech Building is the hub for the Northeast Parallel Architectures Center, Computer Applications and Software Engineering Center, classrooms and offices for the Department of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, the School of Information Studies, and the graduate chemistry department.
