Archbold Gymnasium dates back to 1908 and continues to provide faculty, staff, and students with top facilities for athletic recreation and competition. It was built after John D. Archbold offered to pay a University debt and to ensure the gymnasium's construction. A former president of the Board of Trustees, Archbold gave the University numerous gifts for building construction on the SU campus. The Financial Aid Office, Bursar's Office, and ROTC are located in Archbold North.
